What is Spay Neuter NEMO Cats (SNNC)?

-Northeast Missouri Humane Society is currently taking appointments on behalf of SNNC for members of the public to have their cats spayed and neutered. Contact them at 573-221-9222.

-Please check back to see if any more organizations are listed in the future that are willing and available to schedule and transport cats belonging to members of the public along with their own cats

-Schedule a surgery day with SNNC at SpayNeuterNEMO@gmail.com

​-Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a working relationship

​-Establish payment method prior to surgery (and sign CC authorization form if required)

-Coordinating an off-site drop off/pick up location for the cats you are bringing that day

-Collecting the money for each cat’s services from their owners, caretakers, trappers, etc

-Having a surgery authorization form filled out for each cat

-Being the primary contact for scheduling and communications

- The organization, municipality or person will need to put a credit card -or- bank account (for ACH transfer) on file for payment of services rendered. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) needs to be signed to reach a mutual financial agreement.

- Yes, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required before the organization/group’s first day of surgery.  This allows a payment method to be placed on file, and as a good faith gesture towards establishing a working relationship with SNNC.  The $200 deposit will be applied to that day’s services provided.

-When paying a deposit for your first surgery day ($200 sent as an invoice), you can pay via credit card, then choose to allow your payment information to be saved for future payments. An authorization form must be signed prior to or on the first scheduled day of surgery. The banking information will be securely saved into the SNNC’s Square account. A 3.5% processing fee will be added for credit card payments.

-You can pay your invoices via ACH bank transfer for no additional fee.

You will manually enter your banking information when paying your deposit (sent via invoice). Then select to allow SNNC to keep your banking information on file for paying future invoices. The banking information will be securely saved into the SNNC’s Square account.

-Yes! Once the credit card or bank account number is entered into the payment program, it is encrypted and not visible to SNNC (SNNC uses Square for secure transactions)

-Cats scheduled through the Northeast Missouri Humane Society are currently:

​-Owned cat spays - $70

​-Owned cat neuters - $60

​-TNR (Trap/Neuter Return with ear tip) spays & neuters - $50

Yes, we will provide the following services for surgery patients only:

​Rabies vaccination -$10 

-Required for cats 3 months and older unless proof of current vaccination status is provided

-All TNR cats will be receive a rabies vaccine to protect public health

​FVRCP Vaccination -$5

Microchipping -$20

​Flea & ear mite treatment (Selamectin) -$5

​Deworming (topical treatment includes tapeworms) -$10

​Umbilical hernia repair

​FeLV/FIV testing

​Nail trims

​-We will NOT provide the following

​Declawing

​Dental services
